These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Mind For Me™ platform, a social media and community support network designed to connect individuals for the exchange of support services. By accessing or using the website, mobile application, or any services offered through Mind For Me™ (collectively, the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater, to register for and use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

2. Purpose of the Platform

Mind For Me™ is a peer-to-peer online platform that enables individuals to connect and exchange informal support services, such as:

  • Childminding
  • Pet sitting
  • Help around the home and garden
  • Support for elderly or disabled individuals
  • Carpooling
  • Tutoring
  • Borrowing and lending tools and equipment

Mind For Me™ facilitates communication and scheduling between users, but does not participate in, endorse, or supervise any support task.

3. User Responsibilities

By using the Platform, you agree to:

  • Use the Platform only for lawful purposes.
  • Ensure that any interaction with other users, whether online or in person, is conducted safely and respectfully.
  • Be solely responsible for verifying the identity, trustworthiness, and suitability of any other user with whom you interact.
  • Assume all risk associated with any support service you provide or receive through the Platform.
  • Not buy, sell or otherwise trade Care Coins for cash or other services other than as it is managed from within the Platform.

4. No Endorsement or Warranty by Mind For Me™

Mind For Me™:

  • Does not conduct background checks or screen users.
  • Does not endorse, recommend, or guarantee any user, service, or outcome.
  • Is not a party to any agreement, contract, or arrangement entered into between users.

You acknowledge and agree that Mind For Me™ is not liable for any loss, injury, damage, or claim arising out of or in connection with interactions between users.

5. Use at Your Own Risk

All use of the Platform is at your sole risk. You are responsible for assessing the risks associated with sharing personal information, meeting in person, lending items, or allowing others into your home.

6. User Content

You are solely responsible for any content you post, share, or transmit through the Platform. You must not post any content that is:

  • Defamatory, abusive, or offensive
  • Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
  • False, misleading, or deceptive

Mind For Me™ reserves the right to remove any content at its sole discretion.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Mind For Me™ shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Platform.
  • This includes, but is not limited to, injury, loss of property, or financial loss resulting from engagements between users.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mind For Me™ and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or any interaction with another user.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Platform, you consent to our privacy practices.

10. Termination

Mind For Me™ may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users or the Platform.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of:

  • Australia, for users located in Australia
  • United Kingdom, for users located in the UK
  • United States, for users located in the US

For international users, general principles of international contract law shall apply, but local mandatory consumer protection laws remain applicable.

12. Modifications to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
